ICAT provides property insurance protection to small and middle market business owners located in hurricane and earthquake exposed regions of the United States. Named Hurricane protection is provided to residential property owners in Hawaii.
Small Commercial and Hawaii Residential accounts are underwritten and bound using an Internet-based platform that provides instant quotes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Middle market accounts are underwritten and quoted by ICAT's experienced team of Commercial Property Underwriters. The business activities of ICAT Holdings include:
- ICAT Managers, LLC. ICAT Managers is a managing general agency that underwrites on behalf of ICAT Syndicate 4242 (Lloyd's of London) and other insurance companies. Complete production, underwriting, policy administration and risk management services are provided by ICAT Managers to Syndicate 4242 and other insurers.
- Syndicate 4242. s.4242 underwrites ICAT's core commercial business throughout the United States, often in partnership with other insurance companies. Syndicate 4242 carries an A.M. Best rating of "A" (Excellent), a Standard & Poors rating of "A+" (Strong), and "A+" (Strong) by Fitch Ratings.
- ICAT Specialty Insurance Company. "ISIC" is a Florida-domiciled insurer licensed in Florida and Hawaii. ISIC underwrites Small Commercial accounts in Florida and Named Hurricane protection for residential property owners in Hawaii.
- Boulder Claims, LLC. Boulder Claims provides claims administration and settlement services to ICAT for all business underwritten by ICAT and the Mississippi Windstorm Underwriting Association.
- Service Provider. ICAT Managers provides complete producer management, underwriting, and policy administration to Florida's Citizens Property Insurance Corporation's Commercial Non-Residential program.
